Το ευρωπαϊκό πρόγραμμα LIB(e)RO στοχεύει στην ανάπτυξη μιας διαδικτυακής πλατφόρμας μάθησης με τα σχετικά εγχειρίδια, σύμφωνα με τις αρχές της κοινωνικής ένταξης, και επιτρέπει τη διαπολιτισμική μάθηση στις δημοτικές βιβλιοθήκες. Xρηματοδοτείται από το Erasmus+ της Αυστρίας με συντονιστή το Danube University Krems. Έχει εταίρους από τη Γερμανία, το Jean Monnet Chair for European Politics at Passau University και την WIFO (Economic Forum of the region of Passau e.V.). Από την Ελλάδα, την Εθνική Βιβλιοθήκη της Ελλάδος και την Action Synergy S.A. Η κοινοπραξία των τριών χωρών έχει θέσει ως στόχο να βελτιώσει την τρέχουσα κατάσταση των νέων προσφύγων στην Ευρώπη με βάση την κοινωνική δέσμευση για τη βοήθεια των ανήλικων προσφύγων.
Σκοπός του LIB(e)RO είναι οι βιβλιοθήκες να αποτελέσουν την «είσοδο» για τη Δια Βίου Μάθηση στην Ευρώπη. Το πρόγραμμα (διάρκεια: 01/09/2016 έως 31/10/2018) παρουσιάζει μια επαγγελματική συνεχιζόμενη εκπαίδευση για τους βιβλιοθηκονόμους και καθιερώνει τις δημοτικές βιβλιοθήκες ως χώρους ασφαλούς μάθησης. Participation in LIB(e)RO project
The European project LIB(e)RO aims at the developmentof an on line e-learning platform to assist minor refugees to integrate in Europe and find their own way in a new social and cultural environment. It does so by making use of the potential of libraries as socially inclusive learning spaces, which provide ideal conditions for language learning as well as intercultural understanding.
The project is funded by Erasmus+ of Austria and it is developed and implemented by a team of project partners from Austria, Germany and Greece. Alongside Danube-University Krems in Austria, which is responsible for the coordination of the project, Jean Monnet Chair for European Politics at the University of Passau (Germany) acts as strategic partner. In addition, a number of operative partners are involved in the implementation of the project: WIFO (Economic Forum of the region of Passau). From Greece, the National Library of Greeceas well as Action Synergy S.A.
Finally, the project focuses on promoting life-long education in Europe by integrating minor refugees and by offering to them the opportunity to acquire a new language and adapt to a new social reality through the safety of a library environment. It provides librarians and social workers the opportunity to receive additional vocational training. The duration of the program is from 01/09/2016 to 31/10/2018.
